Ukd
Ukd is a printed catalog used to classify texts by the fields and disciplines of science, culture and human activity. The publication divides these fields with large colored dividers printed on mass dyed paper, so each field can be located quickly. Domain symbols are clearly labeled, with symbols placed on the left and descriptions on the right, which shows how symbols for lower level categories are formed. The book has a hardcover embossed with silver foil for durability. Inserts are made of decorative papers and printed in CMYK and Pantone colors.
Ukd Catalog by Izabela Jurczyk was featured as an exceptional example of communication design by the A' Design Award. Ukd Catalog won the Iron A' Design Award in Print and Published Media Design in 2024. The A' Print and Published Media Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program that recognizes superior design of brochures, posters, magazines, catalogs, flyers, business cards, billboards, books and more.
